FreeCommander is a great replacement for windows file manager.

It includes all the necessary functions to manage your data e.g.

- tabbet interface

- tree view for each panel

- file viewer to view files in hex, binary, text or image format

- FTP client

- multi rename tool

- file searching

- file filters for display

On top of that, you can replace windows explorer with FreeCommander by using this trick: replace Explorer with FreeCommander
